We found the very best gaming monitor deals during LG Gaming Week, from OLED to ultrawide LG launched their Gaming Week Promos earlier this week, and you can read all about it in their press release. If you just want to know all about the great deals on show, then we're here to help you out. LG's range of UltraGear gaming monitors are a particular area of interest which is seeing some great price cuts all round.

Additionally, customers are eligible for huge savings when buying two or monitor UltraGear monitors, laptops, or accessories together. This promotion kicked off on April 15th and will be running up until May 5th, so you have some time to make the most of it.

Here are the best gaming monitor deals from LG Gaming Week

So, let's take a closer look at the amazing UltraGear gaming monitors on offer - LG is advertising up to 45% off select monitors. Visit their large screen monitor savings page to get an overview, or simply visit their gaming monitor store page for all models.

45" UltraGear OLED curved gaming monitor

Screen size45"Resolution3440 x 1440Aspect ratio21:9Refresh rate240HzResponse time0.03msPanel typeOLED

First off, we'd recommend the 45GR95QE-B, a 45-inch curved ultrawide gaming monitor that LG says is their best-selling gaming monitor at the moment. This is an excellent option for immersive gameplay on a beautiful OLED display. This panel technology offers deep blacks, stunning color accuracy, and a high level of responsiveness. It's now $500 off, dropping down to just $1,199.99.

34” UltraGear Curved QHD Nano IPS gaming monitor

Screen size34"Resolution3440 x 1440Aspect ratio21:9Refresh rate144HzResponse time1msPanel typeNano IPS

As an alternative to the 45" ultrawide above, we definitely have to feature the 34GP950G-B, a more budget-friendly option that offers great levels of immersion itself. It is a whopping $600 off, dropping down from $1,299.99 to just $699.99. The Nano IPS panel offers good color accuracy and it boasts refresh rate overclocking up to 180Hz. It also comes with Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate to ensure fluid visuals on the 34-inch screen.

32" UltraGear 4K 144Hz gaming monitor

Screen size32"Resolution3840 x 2160Aspect ratio16:9Refresh rate144HzResponse time1msPanel typeVA

Next up is this 32" 4K 144Hz gaming monitor, the 32GQ750-B. If you're not so interested in ultrawide and want something a little cheaper - yet high-end - we'd think about this instead. The 144Hz refresh rate is smooth enough at this resolution and the HDMI 2.1 connectivity unlocks that for PC, or 120Hz on current-gen consoles. AMD's FreeSync Premium prevents screen tear too if your framerate drops. Down from $699.99 to just $499.99.

27'' UltraGear OLED QHD

Screen size27"Resolution2560 x 1440Aspect ratio16:9Refresh rate240HzResponse time0.03msPanel typeOLED

Not the biggest saving in the world, but the with launch of many new 360Hz OLEDs this year, LG has dropped the price of the 240Hz 27GS95QE-B down to just $799.99. This sits at the QHD (1440p) resolution, which we think is a great spot for many gamers than don't want to push their hardware with 4K or ultrawide resolutions. This resolution is a step up from 1080p, but allows for high framerates at native resolution in any decent gaming PC.

49" Curved UltraGear DQHD

Screen size49"Resolution5120 x 1440Aspect ratio32:9Refresh rate240HzResponse time1msPanel typeVA

Last, but certainly not least, is the 49GR85DC-B - a massive 49-inch super ultrawide monitor. This is one of the biggest standards as far as monitors go, outside of the latest dual 4K displays. This is dual QHD, which is essentially two 1440p monitors stuck together. This is a beast for immersive gaming and productivity, backed up by a smooth 240Hz refresh rate and bright DisplayHDR 1000 rating. Previously $1,299.99, you can now get it for just $849.99.

Is LG Gaming Week a good time to buy a gaming monitor?

There's no doubt that LG Gaming Week is a great time to finally upgrade your gaming monitor. Their wide range of UltraGear displays pretty much has something for everyone, with a focus on larger sizes such as 32-inch 4K and even larger ultrawides.

If you're focused on gaming, we'd definitely recommend and OLED display for the best level of responsiveness, though this of course comes at a cost. There are some great alternatives if you're looking to score the best value for money.

Intel Core i7-14700K review – is it worth it? If you're looking for a competitively priced and powerful mid-range CPU for gaming and productivity then the Intel Core i7-14700K impresses across the board. It's not a massive improvement over the 13700K, however, it offers faster performance and should be a solid upgrade for anyone considering investing in the LGA 1700 socket for the final i7 model to date. Without question, it can be considered one of the best CPUs for gaming, even if it isn't all too exciting.

Intel Core i7-14700K price

The Intel Core i7-14700K is available now with an MSRP of $420, however, despite the fact this chip has only been available for a few months, you can occasionally find it discounted to the sub-$400 mark from retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Newegg. That's an identical price to the MSRP of the 13700K, although, the first Raptor Lake version is now discounted to around the $350 mark. For how these two CPUs compare we recommend reading our 14700K vs 13700K feature.

Intel Core i7-14700K design and specs

The front of the Intel Core i4-14700K showcasing its lid and technical information © BGFG

As touched upon above, the Intel Core i7-14700K is once again built on the LGA 1700 socket as a Raptor Lake refresh featuring a total of 20 cores and 28 threads. Specifically, there are eight P-cores and 12 E-cores which is an increase on the 13700K's 16 cores (8P+8E) and 24 threads for four extra E-cores and four extra threads. It's not the most exciting upgrade, however, it should mean slightly increased performance, and considering the identical pricing, that's a solid minor upgrade.

The Intel Core i7-14700K can be pushed up to 5.6 GHz with Turbo Boost enabled. That's an increase of 0.2 Ghz over the 13700K creeping ever closer toward the 6 GHz boost clock of the i9-14900K; this one's not the fastest chipset in the lineup but it should still be plenty fast for gaming, productivity, and creativity tasks. We'll be touching on the single-core and multi-core performance further down the page.

Because the 14700K is a refresh that means it's built on the same LGA 1700 socket so you shouldn't necessarily need one of the best motherboards for gaming if you've already got a compatible mobo. It should be as simple as a BIOS update, and those thinking of upgrading from Alder Lake should benefit the most. We recommend you check your system's compatibility before investing in the chip just to be sure.

Intel Core i7-14700K gaming performance

In the testing conducted by BGFG's Jack Howarth, it's clear that the Intel Core i7-14700K is an incredibly capable processor for gaming, especially when paired with one of the best graphics cards. This is especially evident in titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, CS2, Days Gone, and Sons of the Forest. A good range of older and newer titles of varying optimization states showcases this mid-range chip's prowess. You don't necessarily need a top-end processor for high refresh rates.

Intel Core i7-14700K synthetic performance

It's a similar story with the synthetic performance of the Intel Core i7-14700K with leading numbers especially where multicore tests come in the equation. This is particularly evidenced in Cinebench R23 and Geekbench with strong figures showcasing the prowess of the third-generation hybrid architecture. The last i7 of its kind truly does go out on top, as is evidenced below.

Alternatives to the Intel Core i7-14700K

Alternatives to the Intel Core i7-14700K include the Intel Core i5-14600K which performs similarly and for a cheaper price point from a pure gaming point of view. Over on the red corner, there's the 7800X which is priced similarly and offers slightly better gaming performance at the cost of worse multicore performance.

Conclusion

The Intel Core i7-14700K is a fantastic CPU for gaming with its strong multi-core performance making it ideal for creatives and those looking to also engage in high-end productivity. The last i7 of its kind, before the Arrow Lake equivalent, Intel has gone all out to ensure that this upper mid-range CPU ticks all the right boxes and it should be a confident chipset for many years to come. It's not quite as good as the 14900K but the broad strokes given its price-to-performance make it easy to recommend.

Is the Intel Core i7-14700K worth it?

Yes, the Intel Core i7-14700K is a worthy upgrade for those considering the jump over to LGA 1700 from older Intel or AMD processors, however, those running existing Raptor Lake hardware are going to see less of the benefits overall.

ASUS PA32KCX release window prediction, confirmed specs, and price estimate Today we're going to take a look the ASUS PA32KCX release date, formally known as the ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX. This is billed as the world's first 8K mini-LED professional monitor. It was initially shown off at NAB Show in Las Vegas, which took place in mid-April 2024. We noted that it's about time a new 8K monitor is on the way, and importantly it also makes the jump up to DisplayPort 2.1, something that few monitors boast at the minute.

Aside from the expected release date, we're also going to delve a little deeper into the specs and price of the ProArt PA32KCX - the latter already has plenty to talk about. So far, the price has an early quote, but the exact release date isn't officially known. Either way, it could easily sweep up the title as the best 8K monitor on the market.

ASUS ProArt Display release date window prediction

One of the things left out of the initial reveal was the release date, so we're going to do some speculation to make an informed prediction. First off, we can look back to ASUS' previous professional monitor which this serves as sort of a successor to - the PA32UCXR. This 4K mini-LED monitor finally released back in January 2024 after first being showcased at Computex 2023 in May of that year, as TFTCentral reported.

That's quite a large gap in-between initial reveal and actual availability. We're going to expect the same from the new 8K PA32KCX, so we predict that it will be available in late 2024, most likely Q4 (or Q3 if ASUS is keen to rush it out). It could even spill over into early 2025. Since the launch timing remains ambiguous, we're going to keep track of it moving forward as much as we can!

ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX specs announced

The ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX is no doubt a high-spec display, not surprising given it's professional target buyer. It is designed for editing work and the specifications reflect that. If you're looking for the best video editing monitor, maybe you'll want to wait out for this one. The high 8K resolution offers unrivalled visual quality, with a high PPI at this 32" screen size.

For editing, the 97% DCI-P3 color accuracy is ideal, aided by true 10-bit color depth. HDR 10 support is also there, though the lack of Dolby Vision can be seen as a downside. As a mini-LED monitor, it has excellent contrast levels and a high 1,200 nits peak brightness to work well in a bright studio environment. Furthermore, it offers eye care and anti-glare LuxPixel tech to keep unwanted reflections under control; the monitor hood also helps with that. Another important feature for editors is the self/auto calibration via the built-in motorized colorimeter.

The DisplayPort 2.1 port will help run this high resolution without the need for compression tech, though the refresh rate is still expected to be around the 60Hz level (this remains unannounced). Lastly, productivity workflows are supported by the Thunderbolt 4 port that offers up to 96W power delivery.

ProArt Display PA32KCX specs revealed at NAB Show 2024 (image source: Vincent Teoh)

ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX price teased

There hasn't really been an official announcement for the exact price, but this post from Vincent Teoh on X, who was present at NAB Show says that a preliminary price is quoted at $8,000. Whether this is simply a humorous nod to the resolution rather than a realistic price is something to be debated.

However, considering the 4K alternative we talked about earlier will currently set you back $3,000, and the fact that 8K monitors are very scarce at the moment in general, it does sound like a good ballpark figure - especially when you account for the future-proof DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity, which is expected to be adopted in the RTX 50 series.

Does the ASUS PA32KCX have DisplayPort 2.1?

Yes, the ASUS ProArt Display PA32KCX will indeed include DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity. This is the latest version of the DisplayPort standard, first arriving in October 2022, then supported with the release of AMD's Radeon RX 7000 series. Nvidia's 40 series GPUs skipped it for now, but it is expected with the next generation. It looks to be the way to go for new 8K monitors, with another DP 2.1 example being Samsung's 57" Neo G9 (an ultrawide dual 4K display).

What is the ASUS PA32KCX refresh rate?

Interestingly, the refresh rate of this 8K monitor was left out of the specs list provided when first revealed. With that in mind, we expect it to stick to a pretty standard 60Hz - otherwise we'd think that ASUS would advertise it. Considering that high refresh rate 8K gaming is out of the question for some time, the demand for something like 120Hz isn't really there at the moment. On the flipside, DisplayPort 2.1 does support 8K at 120Hz, so the potential is there.

Secretlab Magnus Pro review – is it worth it? I'll cut right to the chase and tell you that the Secretlab Magnus Pro is the best gaming desk I've ever used in all my years of reviewing and testing hardware and gaming furniture. It's far from cheap, and it's heavier than most, but if you're after an all-star model that will last the test of time with leading cable management, power solutions, versatility, and a feature set you just won't see from any other desk in its price range.

Secretlab Magnus Pro price

The Secretlab Magnus Pro is available directly from Secretlab in the US and the UK for $799 for the standard 1.5m model and $949 for the XL 1.7m model. My review unit is the standard-sized option. While it may sound pricey, that's before realizing that the Magnus Pro actually doubles as a motorized standing desk, the latter of which can be considerably more expensive depending on the brand. That means this unit can also be considered one of the best standing desks, too.

Secretlab Magnus Pro assembly

The Secretlab Magnus Pro during assembly - one leg screwed into the frame © BGFG

In terms of assembly, the Secretlab Magnus Pro comes in two large boxes and this is where you'll bear the weight the most (especially if you have to carry the pieces up the stairs like I did). The tabletop itself weighs in at a mighty 110lbs (50kg) with the legs and other accessories of the other box coming in around 22lbs (10kg) more for about 132lbs (70kg) which includes the legs, mounts, etc. However, if you're opting for the XL variant, this will be closer to 170lbs (77kg).

Secretlab claims that its Magnus Pro can be assembled in as little as 15 minutes according to the instruction manual, itself which is straightforward and clear. In my testing, building entirely solo, it was more like 30 minutes but this was unpacking as I went. Speaking of which, I strongly recommend having a friend or family member to help you as some parts have some weight to them.

Then we get into the building process itself: flip the tabletop over, connect the corresponding colored wires, screw in the legs, attach the feet, bolt on the cable management tray, install the hinged cover, and then flip the desk over. I've built several gaming and non-gaming desks before, and this was by far the easiest when compared to the competition such as AndaSeat, however, you'll have an easier time building the desk with someone else there to bear the load, and handily all tools are included in the box, too.

Secretlab Magnus Pro design and features

Speaking to its design, the Secretlab Magnus Pro breaks away from its wooden-based contemporaries by being entirely forged from steel meaning it can bear a load of up to 265lb (120kg) which should accommodate multiple gaming monitors, your gaming PC, speakers, accessories, and anything else you can think to throw at it. Smartly, the manufacturer includes a custom-fit desk mat made of the brand's leatherette (the same material as its Titan Evo chairs) which sits across, too. It looks and feels incredibly premium and helps to protect the metal underneath from any scuffing or damage.

On the front of the Secretlab Magnus Pro is the control panel which you'll be able to raise and lower the desk to your liking. There are also three pre-sets that can be programmed, whether this is the perfect height adjustment when standing, down low enough to sit with your gaming chair underneath, or something in between. The motors themselves are incredibly smooth and quiet, and the controls are touchscreen with a noise that pings before motion starts happening.

Secretlab Magnus' RGB lighting adds a splash of color to the setup © BGFG

Where the Secretlab Magnus Pro deviates from the competition is in its power delivery and cable management solution which are among the most sophisticated I have ever used. The cable tray sits neatly underneath the desk towards the back where you're able to lift the hinged cover to access this space. I was easily able to fit an entire power strip inside, with space for another one, as the desk plugs into the wall socket, effectively eradicating any excess cables running along the floor.

As this is a metal desk after all, the company has opted for an entirely magnetic ecosystem for its range of accessories which I'll touch on further down the page. This means everything from an Ethernet extender, headphone hook, laptop mount, and monitor arms are secured into place with powerful magnets before being bolted down for extra safety. It helps to further customize your gaming experience by offering you as many options as you need, however, they all cost extra. One thing you'll want to consider to add a splash of color is the MAGRGB light strip which attaches between the desk and hinged cover.

Secretlab Magnus Pro performance

The Secretlab Magnus Pro fully extended to its maximum height © BGFG

As for how the Secretlab Magnus Pro performs, there's no question that this is the best gaming desk I've ever used. As touched upon above, the motorized standing functionality is quiet and fast which incentivizes me to use it more often. As someone who sits down a lot for work, having the option to stand so effortlessly is a massive plus, with a mechanism that works better than previous models from Flexispot or ChopValue that I've used in the past.

The actual tabletop itself measures 1.5m long with a depth of 59 inches (70cm) which is plenty large enough for my sizeable ultrawide monitor, gaming PC, keyboard, mouse, and more with room to spare. However, you may want to consider additional accessories such as the single or dual monitor arms which free up space, and the premium PC mount (meaning your rig can sit underneath). However, said mount can take up to 55lbs (25kg), and a machine up to the size of 21.5 x 11.8 inches, and my rig is bigger and heavier so on the desk it stayed. If you're running a smaller gaming PC you should have no problems, though.

Is the Secretlab Magnus Pro desk worth it?

Simply put, yes. The Magnus Pro is the best gaming desk that we've ever used with excellent cable management, power solution, standing and sitting functionality, and stylish all-metal construction. It's far from cheap, nor is it light, but it's furniture that's sure to benefit gamers and those who work from home, too.

How to tell if someone has Snapchat Plus – 7 ways to know If you are wondering how to tell if someone has Snapchat Plus, then we have you covered right here.

It has been a while since Snapchat introduced its paid service. Snapchat+ subscribers get access to premium features like Snapchat planets, custom themes, AI creative tools, better AI chatbot, BFF pins, extended story times, Snapscore multiplier, and much more. If you want to see which of your friends are subscribed to Snapchat+, it’s quite easy to figure out.

With that being said, there are quite a few ways to find out if your friend has Snapchat Plus or not, and we have outlined those in our guide here.

How to know if someone has Snapchat+

Does Snapchat Plus tell you when someone views your profile?

No, a Snapchat+ user won’t be able to see if you view their profile.

Does Snapchat Plus show who viewed your story twice?

Yes, Snapchat+ users have access to a ‘Rewatch Indicator,’ which is a feature that tells them how many times a user has viewed their story.

Conclusion

To sum up, the quickest way to tell if someone is using Snapchat Plus is to view their profile and look for the Snapchat+ ‘star’ badge next to their username. In addition to this, there are other ways to know if a user has a Snapchat Plus subscription, like custom profile backgrounds, extended story time, chat wallpapers, post view emoji, and more. However, for this, the user has to make use of these features.

DLSS works wonders so why do people still question it? Coming out as an addition to its newer range of graphics cards, Nvidia brought out the new Deep Learning Super Sampling technology. Bringing Artificial intelligence into your graphics is very much dependent on the implementation by developers. However, it hasn't all been a sweet deal as to this day it can be quite a divisive choice and seen more as a crutch than something useful these days.

However, it can also be seen as a way of extending the life of your best GPU and playing the latest games with a somewhat better framerate. But it doesn't include every graphics card equally and can be rather restrictive as to who can actually benefit from it. That might even work for them as some gamers ask if it is worth changing GPUs to use DLSS. Even so, it brings with it plenty of opportunity when used right.

Even then there is some hate for DLSS, or more likely what it means for any new games coming out and the limitations it has on it. So is it something you should be worried about right now?

What DLSS has to offer

The technology is there for a boost in performance, it renders the game at a lower resolution and then uses AI to upscale it and make it look not too dissimilar from what it should be but without the heavy loads that your screen needs. That is further improved by more recent improvements and releases.

With the launch of the RTX 40 series, we saw the release of DLSS 3 and frame generation technology. That improves upon the tech further as it uses AI to render extra frames in between further improving the frame rate, but not natively which not everyone is a fan of as it may be seen as a bit of a cheat.

However, it is a great way of pushing your cards further, the ones that support it that is. As DLSS requiring AI integration is limited to just RTX cards, which means even if DLSS 3.7 is putting a nail in the coffin of performance. Those rocking an older Pascal card mean that you're not getting to enjoy the tech and get a boost.

DLSS 3.5 vs DLSS 3 frame gen with ray reconstruction, source: BGFG

The problems many have with DLSS

As u/LifeOnMarsden points out it is both a great thing and simultaneously a bad thing to come out. Although the tech might help some it certainly seems to be a big dependence for new games coming out. Especially if the optimization isn't what it should be like in recent releases where you won't get a good performance without the use of it. Such as when Remnant 2 was released and said it was on by default whilst the performance was patched in later on.

That is great for those who can run it, but the technology is locked behind a big paywall. Considering the pricing of graphics cards increasing it makes it unaffordable to many or those that really need it left behind. Especially with the different tiers as the 40 series is the only one with frame generation, and the lowest entry isn't even a relatively good choice of GPU.

As we delve into our RTX 4060 review, the card loses out on its value. Nvidia doesn't really improve upon the last generation, there are no leaps of what's on offer but a reliance on the rest of the package instead. But even then the basics don't quite satisfy modern-day needs and you'd have to look at something more expensive for a more valued choice. Even this low-end card was released at $299 but with only 8GB VRAM it might be lacking for graphics these days.

GPU testing with benchmarking software on show, source: BGFG

What does that mean for the next generation and what we think

In this case, we can expect plenty more games to be released with DLSS or other upscaling like AMD's FSR or Intel's XeSS. It will likely become a standard for being used in general, and if games keep releasing incomplete or with hard-hitting performance it is likely a standard.

Plus with the expected RTX 50 series release date on the horizon, we might see plenty more iterations of the technology and implementation of it. Whilst likely offering up improvements to what's available, whilst also hoping for an improvement to the bottom tier that might make it a bit more of a worthy upgrade as plenty of gamers aren't upgrading their GPUs.

In all honesty, we don't think it's all too terrible. It makes games a lot more playable when it comes to the hard hitters, the best example being Cyberpunk 2077, and the prime of modern Crysis benchmark if you want the game to look its part and play well that's the only way to do it. Even DLSS 2 is still a good choice and without frame generation, it still is a worthy enhancement.

Powerful RTX 4090 gaming laptop sees price fall to lowest ever in Amazon deal High-end gaming laptops don't come cheap right now, so any deal is well worth checking out if you're in the market for saving a few hundred dollars. That's exactly what this MSI Raider GE68HX brings to the table - a solid $200 saving for a limited time at Amazon. Be aware though; this powerful machine offers everything you could want from a gaming laptop - so expect pricing to still bring on some nausea.

The MSI Raider is the epitome of high-end gaming performance, featuring the most powerful gaming laptop GPU on the market - the RTX 4090 - alongside a slew of equally premium hardware options, including the Intel Core i9-14900HX, 65GB DDR5 RAM, 2TB SSD, and a 144Hz Mini-LED display. What more could you ask for?

Well, maybe a cheeky price cut? The MSI Raider GE68HX is usually listed for the eye-watering price point of $3,999 which, let's be honest, is pretty high. Fortunately, Amazon is currently offering the RTX 4090 laptop for 5% off its original pricing, bringing the cost down from $4,000 to $3,800.

While that might still seem like a huge investment, $200 is $200 at the end of the day - and if you're in the market for the best of the best, why not save some money while doing so?

Why you should consider this gaming laptop

If high frame rate gaming in 4K is on the agenda, this laptop should probably be high on your list of considerations. It features everything you could want in a gaming laptop - including RTX 4090 graphics, a powerful 14900HX CPU, and a Mini-LED UHD display - that runs at a cool 144Hz.

The RTX 4090 is the best gaming graphics card on the market, meaning you'll be able to push ample framerates in a variety of different AAA titles. The powerful CPU will not only ensure bottlenecking isn't a problem, but it'll also allow you to perform fairly strenuous multitasking workflows - perfect for streaming on the go.

A 2TB SSD and 64GB DDR5 RAM make up the remainder of the features, giving this laptop well-rounded performance that far exceeds just gaming - and that's without touching on the latest Mini-LED panel technology that features better local dimming and huge brightness numbers.

Where to buy this RTX 4090 gaming laptop

There are a number of outlets listing the MSI Raider GE68HX right now, but for us, the best place might be Amazon - where you can save a decent $200 while stock lasts. We'll leave relevant buying links below if you're interested in the MSI Raider 4090 laptop, alongside any relevant other laptop deals we've found.

Where to buy Google Pixel 8a upon release – expected retailers & pre order Anyone keen to pick up a more budget-friendly smartphone may want to know where to buy Google Pixel 8a, Google's latest addition to their cheaper a-series. From what we know so far, there isn't long at all until the Pixel 8a release date is here, so we're also going to take a look at any pre order details out there so far.

Ever since the first photos of this new phone allegedly surfaced, we've been excited to find out where you can buy one. It is more or less guaranteed that the 8a will be launched at the upcoming Google I/O event taking place from May 14th, so it could be available to buy and/or pre order in just a few weeks time.

Is there a Google Pixel 8a pre order available?

Right now, the Pixel 8a is yet to be launched. As such, you won't find any pre orders just yet - but they should be soon here. Looking back to last year's 7a, it became fully available to purchase just a day after it launched. That didn't leave much room in the way of pre orders, but we saw some launch bonus deals in a similar vain. Whether the new 2024 model follows the same release schedule is yet to be seen, so we'll be paying close attention during Google I/O.

Where to buy Google Pixel 8a - US expected retailers

Aside from checking out the official Google store, there are a couple of great retailers that regularly stock Pixel phones in the US. We'd recommend having a look on Amazon or Best Buy once the Pixel 8a is announced.

Canada will be another key market for Google, with the same retailers as the US being prevalent.

In the UK, it's worth shopping around at more local retailers such as Currys, though Amazon of course remains a good choice.

Will there be a Google Pixel 8a pre order bonus?

We don't yet know whether the Google Pixel 8a will get a pre order bonus, but we can look back to last year as a rough guide. Like we said above, there wasn't much of a pre-order period at all - instead, retailers were offering limited-time promotions.

For example, you could get an extra $50 off plus a $50 gift voucher at Best Buy. Alternatively, some places were offering the Pixel Buds A-series wireless earphones for completely free with you purchase of the Pixel 7a. We hope to see similar offers this year for the Pixel 8a.

How much will the Google Pixel 8a cost?

This is another detail we won't know about for sure until Google I/O, so we're best off waiting until then. On the flipside, there has been some speculation.

Going off the launch price of the 7a last year, it actually saw an increase up to $499/£449, which was $50/£50 more than the 6a. With that in mind, we could yet see another price hike due to new upgrades on board - $550 is rumored by Android Authority.
